Main Idea
This is very “meta.” Also, 100% human-composed (
that’ll make sense in a second).
A major problem is brewing thanks to AI. The pendulum has swung so far that LinkedIn content and newsletters like this are becoming
meaningless.
Do me a favor: open LinkedIn and start scrolling through your feed. What percentage of the content is
not AI-generated or heavily AI-assisted?
It starts with a clickbait line—usually controversial:
“AI is killing young careers…”
“So you’re a so-called VC...”
“The SaaS graveyard is about to get…”
Then an emoji-punctuated list:
✅ Giving you
✅ Something
✅ Pretty
✅ To look at
You get it.
Using AI to help create content is a hack. It gives people who struggle to convey points the ability to write like a world-class PR firm. But now everyone can do it. It’s so ubiquitous that it’s meaningless.
Mark my words: over the next few months you’ll stop reading, liking, or commenting on well-intentioned, AI-amplified content.
The pendulum is about to swing the other way. We’ll place a premium on raw “100% human” content.
Now take this and think about other areas of the world where AI is serving as a skill equalizer. Where are you using it today and thinking,
“Wow, I would have never been able to do XYZ if it weren’t for AI”?
Today, it puts you in the lead, but soon everyone will be doing it. You won’t just fail to lead; you’ll be a commodity people are tired of seeing.
Here’s the play:
I think it’s simple. Follow the Law of AI Excellence: “
AI is an amplifier, not a replacer.”
If you’re not using it to amplify your humanity, you’re just putting out a bunch of pretty work that is intellectually lazy. It “wows” people today. In a few weeks (maybe months), it’ll be a handicap.
Behind the scenes:
I wrote this the old-fashioned way, then used AI to point out any obvious misspellings or grammatical gaffes. It was a great exercise—and a relief to know my brain still works and I can write original content—haha! (Yes, those em-dashes were all me 😊)

This picture is special because we believe speed is strategy.
Our partnership came together fast: if you wait on AI, you’ll miss your shot. We launched
Unburdn even though all of us have incredibly busy schedules. We still spend a lot of time on video calls and in 1-on-1s, but we’re finally getting more time to collaborate in person. Nothing replaces the culture-building and team-building that happens when you work together face-to-face.
AI is the ultimate amplifier and augmentation tool; working together in person is a close second.
Thanks for reading. 🙏
